Josie Velasquez
For as long as she can remember, journaling has been an outlet for Josie – a safe place to relax, unwind and pull her thoughts together. Coming from humble beginnings, she describes herself as “driven” with her determination to dream big. She learned to cook, to sew and eventually rose to heights in a career in real estate. But she never gave up her artistic side. She continued to work with her hands – always drawing, sewing, working with leather goods, and always journaling. Finally, life has come full circle, and Josie’s dream has come true where she can share her love of journaling with others. As Josie says, “I feel blessed every day.”
The Care of Leather
To care for your handcrafted leather accessories, use a soft, dry cloth or a leather cleaner specifically designed for fine leather products. Gently wipe the surface in a circular motion, being careful not to rub too hard or use excessive water or soap, which can damage the leather.

CANCELLATIONS/EXCHANGES/REFUNDS:
Cancellations:
Cancellations are permitted within 24 hours of placing an order with a $25 processing fee.
Exchanges and Refunds:
All exchanges and refunds will incur a 25% restocking fee.
We cannot exchange or refund any used or customized items. If the product has already been shipped, request for returns or exchanges must be submitted within 5 business days of receiving the product. Exchanges or refunds will not be issued until the unused product has been received in the studio.
CUSTOM ORDERS:
Custom orders are accepted on an individual basis. We consider accepting custom orders when the product is available and the customization falls within our brand guidelines. Please email us at admin@poetryandprosejournals.com prior to placing a custom order that does not appear on the website. Ordering from the website with a custom order request placed in the notes does not guarantee that your request can be fulfilled and will result in the Cancellation/Exchange/Refund fee outlined above, if we are unable to accommodate your custom order.
